The MVE: What is it?
The MVE is a webpage content editing/updating tool specifically designed for the non-technical person. Through the use of a Microsoft® Word-like interface those with content editing responsibility can visually add/change/delete content within selected webpages of their website.

The MVE supports the basic text editing features, such as word or paragraph bolding, italicizing, centering, cut, copy, paste, among other features. In addition, the MVE enables you to create and manage tables, internal and external links, and image files.


The MVE: How does it work?
The MVE is a scripted control that resides on a web server. The visual editor window of the MVE is a separate application from the website being edited. What's more, you edit your webpages from within a secured, password-proteced context, thereby preventing any others from making changes.

Once done editing a webpage a simple click of the Save icon in the menubar of the MVE window sends the webpage content and changes to the web server which then stores the HTML code (the "behind the scenes" browser layout markup language) in a SQLServer database and also into a flat file. This process provides an automatic backup feature for all content per webpage.

Becuase of this, you can rest assured that your webpage information will never be lost or that your webpage content changes will "mess up" a webpage of your website.


The MVE: What features does it support?
Two levels of capability are offered. Tier One is the basic level designed for those desiring to perform just the basic text and paragraph editing functions. Included in this tier, however, is the ability to upload and download pdf files.
